Sonel KUS-100 acoustic imager is a vital diagnostic tool, allowing significant savings by reducing energy losses.
The imager operates in two detection modes: leakage and partial discharge. It has the ability to manually tune the detected frequencies and change the sensitivity level to avoid unwanted reflections and interference.
Comfort of use is improved by a touch screen and a convenient strap mounted to the housing. Thanks to Bluetooth communication, the camera’s sounds can be output to an external audio device (speaker or wireless headphones).
Applications
With the help of a built-in microphone array (64 microphones) the imager effectively detects sources of acoustic emission such as leaks of compressed agents in industrial installations or partial discharges in the power utility industry. It is suitable for use in the following areas:
- diagnostics of high-voltage devices,
- leak detection in gas installations,
- inspection of compressed air systems.
The device estimates and displays leak rate, level and possible cost for reference according to the set time unit, unit price, and currency.
